"Jammin' Jack" Mitchell has been entertaining for more than 25 years in venues from Los Angeles to Nashville, and from Honolulu to Petersburg, Alaska.

Originally from southern California, Jack began his musical career in San Diego at Hotel Circle's King's Grille Restaurant as a strolling troubador, performing Renaissance folk music for dinner theater.

Jack began his radio broadcasting career at KPCC in Pasadena, California, where he studied radio controls at Pasadena City College. Jack also did a stint at pop radio station Z-1077 in Joshua Tree, California. One of the original hosts for Leslie’s in Lakewood, Washington, Jack and his counterpart, Chuck Lowry, were well known as party/host entertainers and club celebrities. Original radio advertisements written and recorded by Chuck and Jack were played on KNBQ radio in Tacoma. Jammin' Jack Mitchell was also a well-known entertainer in the Tacoma club scene.

Most recently, Jack signed publishing deals with Acuff-Rose in London (now Sony Music) and Jordash Music Publishing in Nashville. Artists Karyn Black and Ashton Wolf have recorded music written by Jack Mitchell.

Jack holds a Master’s Degree and an MFA in Theatre Arts Directing from California State Universities at Los Angeles and Humboldt.

Currently Jack performs as DJ Jack Mitchell at private venues, weddings and corporate events. His company, WEDDINGS AND MORE, offers superb disc jockey entertainment at reasonable prices. Jack Mitchell prides himself on providing consistent top-notch professional entertainment for his clients.
